Cousins Aaron and Cameron Mooney founded Tugboat after witnessing firsthand how challenging insurance claims can be for homeowners. As experienced insurance adjusters who handled thousands of claims nationwide, they saw that most people lacked support when navigating the complex insurance process.
Determined to make a difference, they launched Tugboat in 2021 to provide homeowners with the tools and guidance needed to effectively manage their insurance claims. The impact was greater than they ever expected, with users significantly increasing their settlements and successfully overturning claim denials by knowing the right questions to ask and steps to take.
